The Kingdom Animalia

Concept, art direction, and package design for a collection of wooden animal silhouettes. Made available in 2 versions, a decorative dark stained version with brightly colored painted edges and a beeswax covered natural option that could be used as a cutting board, the packaging drew inspiration from educational flash cards with schematics and a few facts about the real life animal incorporated into the design.

In 2012, we collaborated with the Gap to create large scale versions of the Animalia for their holiday window and store displays around the globe.

Also in 2012, Martha Stewart’s granddaughter Jude had a first birthday party like no other. An all white edition was created for the animal themed party to fit perfectly with the location’s decor.
